The Cold War

In significant ways, the Cold War defined the lives of most citizens of the world for the second half of the twentieth century. It continues to influence the politics of the United States and the world.

The mission of the museum is to preserve the S.A.G.E. (Semi Automatic Ground Environment) building as a site in which to engage the general public in an examination of all aspects of the Cold War and to explore the lessons that can be drawn from the period.
